These headlines highlight an uncomfortable truth: GenAI is evolving faster than public institutions, ethics protocols, and technical standards can respond. In a race-to-market world, speed is incentivized, but reflection is not.

Leaders must ask: Will we wait for governance to catch up, or will we lead with frameworks that keep pace with the technology?
