As a Silicon Valley global executive, founder, and startup veteran, I have lived the discipline of the minimum viable product (MVP): build, test, learn, iterate, and improve before rolling out a product at scale.
In this book, I reposition that logic for institutional oversight as AI Minimum Viable Governance (MVG): the compact, practical, minimum-defensible governance an institution can implement now, test in practice, strengthen over time, and adapt as AI capabilities, risks, and regulations continue to shift rapidly.
UNGOVERNED translates my doctoral dissertation research into a practical, evidence-based, non-technical, non-legalistic tool for institutional leaders — especially those in highly regulated industries and mission-driven organizations trying to do good while doing well in an AI-enabled world. The book includes:
